Journey to Inferno

...aka hell. I've finally made it to the final garden, the garden of Lord Mordeth (oo mor-deth, spooky.) The land of Inferno is quite dark, and filled with OBSCENELY powerful mobs (im 20 levels below the recommended starting level for this area) Here is a nifty screenshot, near "Yuttos Marshes"

Ebay bans virtual game sales?

Ebay has recently confirmed the decision to ban all sales of virtual game items (game money, items, leveling) A quote from Curse Gaming:

"Given that a significant slice of the multi-hundred-million-dollar business took place on eBay until now, the move portends a significant shift in who controls the market for virtual goods.

High ImpactWhat's new: eBay has confirmed that it will ban auctions for the sale of property from online games and virtual worlds--except Second Life.

Bottom line: Because eBay has dominated the auction market for real-money trades, there's little question that the winner in this latest circumstance, at least in the short term, will be third-party sites like Internet Gaming Entertainment." Read More...

Kiting: a video guide

This video is a visual explanation of the popular event of "hired kiting". Many people may use this term, and many may not know what it means or refers too. Kiting is the act of running around a mob, fighting it from a distance so it cannot attack you. This is generally reserved for NT's (Nano-Technicians) as they have "AoE" (Area of Effect) "Nukes" that cause damage in a radius, and can be used on multiple targets at once. Monopolizing on this ability, players have found yet another way to make money, via this kiting service. Teaming as usual, the other players either pay money per level or level for free — paying is the common practice.
